Ivan Wanis Ruiz

With a Colombian mother and Armenian father, Ivan has learned to speak Spanish and to connect with his Latin origins through salsa. As a child, he listened to hip-hop, but hearing Colombian salsa groups awakened an interest for the rhythm and lyrics. He began dancing seven years ago with the objective of meeting women, but within three months, he instead fell in love with dance. Ivan dances and teaches various styles of salsa and has found love, friends and a passion.
